BEHIND BIZNAX

AI Policy

Biznax may use artificial intelligence to support research, drafting, editing, and the development of sourcing resources. This policy sets the standards for that assistance across supplier profiles, buying guides, templates, images, and any AI-enabled features introduced on the site.

Human editorial responsibility remains central. AI-assisted editorial content requires review before publication. Decisions about accuracy, relevance, sourcing, and presentation remain the responsibility of the person preparing or approving the material. A fluent explanation or confident answer is not evidence that a statement is correct.

AI may assist with organizing research notes, proposing outlines, simplifying explanations, improving readability, translating drafts, and identifying inconsistent or missing fields. It may also help prepare examples, checklists, and software drafts. These uses must support a useful result grounded in identifiable information.

Supplier facts require sources. AI must not invent company identities, locations, capabilities, customers, production capacity, certifications, prices, minimum order quantities, or delivery commitments. Information suggested by an AI system must be traced to an appropriate source before being presented as a factual company detail. Where support is unavailable, the detail should be omitted or clearly marked as unknown.

A company’s published description and an independently checked fact must remain distinguishable. AI assistance cannot establish that a supplier is genuine, financially sound, compliant, or suitable for a particular order. Listing, claimed-profile, and identity-check labels must reflect their defined processes and evidence. An automated summary cannot justify a verification badge.

Sources and quotations must be checked directly. References should lead to material that supports the relevant statement. Fabricated citations, invented quotations, and summaries that change a source’s meaning are unacceptable. Review also covers titles, descriptions, image captions, alternative text, and structured data, because inaccuracies in those fields can mislead readers.

AI-generated wording must not imply firsthand experience that did not occur. Biznax must not present invented factory visits, product tests, interviews, customer reviews, case studies, or professional credentials as real. Hypothetical purchasing examples should be identified as examples, with their assumptions made clear.

Meaningful AI involvement should be disclosed when it helps readers understand a resource’s reliability or how it was produced. This includes substantially generated illustrations, live AI-generated responses in any future interactive feature, or other uses that materially affect interpretation. Routine spelling or formatting assistance does not require a separate notice on every page.

Generated or altered images must not be used as evidence of a supplier’s actual facilities, products, workforce, certifications, or performance. Illustrations should be identified where confusion is reasonably likely. Images must also be reviewed for misleading labels, dimensions, safety details, and other visual inaccuracies.

Tools and calculations require appropriate checks. AI-assisted software must be tested against known examples before release, with formulas, units, inputs, and assumptions examined. Any future AI-generated supplier suggestion or RFQ draft should be presented as assistance requiring review. Missing information must remain visible rather than being replaced with plausible guesses.

Confidential information requires care. Editorial contributors must not enter private RFQs, unpublished prices, customer records, personal contact details, or proprietary specifications into external AI services without appropriate authorization and consideration of the service’s data handling. Public availability of one detail does not authorize sharing related private material.

AI assistance does not override source permissions, attribution requirements, or editorial independence. Company information should be summarized accurately, and commercial relationships must not determine factual conclusions or verification status.

Readers can report suspected AI-related errors through the Contact Us page. Please include the page address, the disputed statement or image, and supporting evidence where available. Reports should be assessed on their substance, with necessary corrections handled through the editorial process. This policy will be reviewed as Biznax’s publishing methods and features develop.
